Lancaster University Chemistry Department, and the wider Lancaster and district section of the Royal Society of Chemistry are looking forward to judging the Crystals grown over the summer.

This year we will be looking for not only a perfect crystal (clear, symmetrical with sharp edges) but also the largest crystal. So don’t worry if your crystal is slightly wonky.

In addition, each crystal submitted by the 6th will receive a certificate of commendation.

The winners will be announced at the central library Lancaster Fun Palace at the towards the end of the Saturday afternoon session of the Fun Palace.
